• When you're alone getting into your car, the first thing you should do is lock the doors.
• Always keep a fully charged mobile phone at your side; program emergency numbers into speed dial.
• Before getting into your car, make sure you know your route to and from each property you visit.
• When meeting a client, always let someone know where you are going and who you are meeting, including the client's name and phone number.
• Take a personal safety course.
• Meet all new clients at your office, verify their identity, and whenver possible, avoid being at the office alone.
• Try to plan your ATM visits during the day, and choose an ATM location in a busy public place.
